And it begins - The anti-ADR trip planner makes ADRs

Well, I attempted the WDWDINE again last night and although I was thrown a few loops, I did get a few more ADRs made:

Arrival Day: MK (Crystal Palace dinner confirmed)
Day2: Epcot/MGM (Beaches and Cream lunch, WCC dinner confirmed)
Day3: AK/MK (TH confirmed and Boma confirmed)
Day4: Open (Fulton's lunch, confirmed)
Day5: MK/Open
Departure Day: Olivia's for lunch and off to the airport.

I didn't get LTT for arrival day, but I liked the CP breakfast, so decided to go with dinner there. I couldn't get an ADR until 7:30pm, but considering we won't get to SSR until 1pm I figure we'll be having a late lunch anyway so 7:30 won't be too hard to wait for. I left our last full day completely unplanned as far as meals go; by the time we get that far in we're pretty much over big meals anyway, so I figure a Casey's stop and depending where we end up maybe Sunshine Seasons at Epcot or Earl at the Village.

Yes, I still call it the Village. I *know* it's DTD now, and people give me all kinds of weird looks when I call it the Village, but for me, it will always be the Village. Just like the TTA will always be the WEDWay. And the Polynesian Resort will always be the Polynesian Village. <--- (pretend there is a *fist banging on the desk* smilie here)

I am old skool, darn it! :teacher:

So now, I have to start thinking about what to pack. I did manage to get the dog a boarding reservation with our vet (after totally forgetting completely about him  ), so that's taken care of. pug:

Next up is trying to decide on grocery delivery or grocery stop. :scratchin

Poor puppy. ;) It's hard to compete with all that stress over ADR's. Looks like you got some good reservations. :thumbsup2

Next up is trying to decide on grocery delivery or grocery stop. :scratchin

I'm still working on this one myself. I don't know if we can eat $50 worth of groceries in a week when we're eating out all the time, too. Oh, who am I kidding, I'll have two teen girls with me.

Awsome job on thoes ADR!!!! Did you remember to cancle the other one from the first call???

Well, it's fast approaching! And the pile of "summer" laundry is growing as I unearth it all to wash and pack. Aside - is it just me? You wash all your seasonal clothes before you put them away, and then you wash them again when you get them out.

DH: "They were clean when they went in the drawer...are they not still clean now?"

Me: "No. Now hush."

They're just...stale. They need to be washed again. I can't help it. :laundy:

I looked up the park schedules for the time we're there, and we lucked out that MK is having evening EMH the day we get there. :woohoo: And anyone ever notice that no matter how the hours for the other parks fluctuate, Epcot is always, always the same? FW: 9am-7pm, WS: 11am-9pm. At least that makes it easy to schedule.

So the only two days I have really "scheduled" is the first MK day and the third day we're there, when we have the TH breakfast. We're doing AK in the morning, and then heading to Fort Wilderness for the afternoon for the petting zoo and pony rides. (As I was typing this, I noticed that Future World and Fort Wilderness have the same abbreviation. Huh.)

I am a little apprehensive about petting zoos...I look at the animals and I can *see* the e coli running all over them. :3dglasses I CAN. But I've mapped out all the bathrooms in the area, so I'm good.

Who am I kidding? I didn't have to map them out. I know where every bathroom in WDW is. If you're in any park, I can tell you which bathroom is closest to where you are, within feet. I need to make up a button that says:

Need a bathroom? Ask me for directions! :)

The benefits of having the world’s second tiniest bladder. The award for world’s tiniest bladder goes to my mom. Upon receiving the award, this was her speech:

“Thank you so much for this award, you smart aleck child. Now, the closest bathrooms are 47ft N/NW. I’ll meet you there.”

So…two days planned, two to go. I never plan the last full day…that is the day we do everything anyone wants to do. I have park hopped to all four parks in one day before. The last day is also the day we play the: “Do you think we can fit all this stuff in our suitcases? Do you think we should buy another bag?” game.

They're just...stale. They need to be washed again. I can't help it. :laundy:

They ARE stale. Really, who wants to smell like a dresser drawer? (The first time I typed this, I wrote "Who wants to smell like drawers?" and realized I should probably rephrase that.) :rotfl2:

“Thank you so much for this award, you smart aleck child. Now, the closest bathrooms are 47ft N/NW. I’ll meet you there.”

:rotfl2: You'll probably find me in there waiting for the two of you. You're right. We ARE twins. I know where all the bathrooms are at WDW and also everywhere in my own personal hometown. :rotfl2: DD, on the other hand, is some sort of camel. She can ride in the back of the car for days and never take a sip of water or go to the bathroom. She's monitored my fluid intake in the car since she was about 3. :rotfl2:

“Do you think we can fit all this stuff in our suitcases? Do you think we should buy another bag?” game.

And you can avoid that, my friend, by packing a slightly smaller suitcase inside a bigger one. Voila--instant souvenir suitcase when you arrive! :rotfl2:

Hey, I need to change an ADR. Could you give them a call for me? ;)

I think I'm going to have to show this thread to DH...even though I'm one of those that always makes my ADR's at 180 out, DH likes to completly change them about two weeks before the trip and then wonders why we can't get into his restaurant. If you're even now making ADR's, he's going to need to get on the ball as well. :goodvibes

Well, I'm back and I have full reports. Unfortunately, they will be forthcoming AFTER I finish the laundry, go to the grocery, and unpack.

For now, let me just say it was a whirlwind, exhausting, truly great vacation. I'll be posting both the trip report and a dining report (such as it is). Do you know, out of all those ADRs...we ended up cancelling all but 2!!!

I guess you can't treat an old dog news tricks.

Can't wait to hear more.

No, you really can't. And I didn't ADR well. I mean, we had to get up at 5am to go to the airport going down. Why on earth did I think we'd be up for a 7:30pm dinner??? We were ready for bed at 7:30, not food.

The only ones we kept were the TH character breakfast and the lunch at Fulton's. I guess you could say we kept the ones at WCC as well...although they were for 6:40pm and we arrived at 5pm and asked if they could seat us then. They did. :)
