And if you tent....

Glad you had a great trip. I thought they were only strick about the fires in the summer. I agree that the best thing about camping is sitting around the fire at night, although with our kids all grown, we stumble back from the parks exausted and just pass out.

I also wish they would put in a better pool. It would be wounderful if they used part of River Country. :grouphug: :cheer2: :cheer2: :cheer2:

This is a great thread. I am looking at tent camping as an option for our week long Sept. trip. WE camped offsite several years ago, and had a thunderstorm one night, youngest DS was terrified. And it wasn't those pass quickly ones either. But hoping now, years later that has changed (he faired better during Wilma then I, and as he gets older he is adjusting to Florida weather better).

We have stayed at Value Resorts since. But due to unseen circumstances, I am hunting better deals, be it off site or on. I prefer on site. My oldest DS and his friend travels with us. We normally use the car for transport, instead of buses, so usually once or twice in a trip we like leaving the parks at different times, so this makes staying off site harder for them.

Plus, this would take care of not having to buy two "Disney" meals each day, for us.

I will watch this thread carefully! Thanks :thumbsup2
