Dh has been really sick. I've stayed home from work the last few days to take care of him. Anyway, he's laying on the couch watching tv while I'm on the computer. Look over at him he's still laying in the same position with his eyes open. Okay, few minutes later I glance over and he's still in the same position with his eyes open. So now I call his name. NO response. Call him again, no response. Walk up to him and call his name, nothing. Stand right next to him and yell his name. He snaps AWAKE and looks at me like I was nuts. He was sleeping with his eyes open!!!! It seriously scared me.

Then, I put some clothes in the dryer. All of a sudden I notice a smell. Walk to the back of the house and it smells like somethings on fire!!! Unplug the dryer and sure enough some of the lint had filter down to the bottom of the dryer and got flamed.

I'm afraid to go make dinner!!!

Go directly to bed, for God's sake! No good can come of any attempt to operate complex contraptions like the stove or microwave! Shut the lights off, lock the doors, and crawl under the covers. Your insurance agent will thank you for it!

Not to scare you--Are you sure he didn't have a seizure?

Yeah, I think you should order out for dinner tonight! I hope you feel better soon.

DH and I were chipping ice and shoveling snow all afternoon. I just got done soaking in a hot bath. I have a feeling I'm still going to be sore tomorrow.

Well, I made it through dinner in one piece. No fire, no being stabbed with a sharp object, etc.

Thank you all for the kind thoughts. I hadn't thought of a seizure, and though I don't think that's what happened I will keep an eye on him, and call the doctor tomorrow.
