Which is the best water park for the timid!! I love water slides etc., but nothing too wild, just somewhere fun to cool off.

I agree with that, although Watermania isn't a white knuckle experience and I've never been to River Country but I hear is a chill out venue.

Just to let you know River Country is currently closed I never did get a chance to try it.

For timid - TL is best. BB is more for the 'adventurous' but they would enjoy TL too. Though having said that, both have chill out creek tube rides, and the bays etc.
Don't like River Country.

I agree TL.
But try the 'Family raft ride' at BB. It's not too wild and is good fun if there's a group of you !

I'm pretty sure that it was the family raft ride we went on last year, with our ds who was 2! Believe me, I'm not into water being jetted up my nose at high speed, and there are plenty of things to keep even someone like me amused at both BB and TL. We actually preferred BB, because our kids preferred the kiddy slides there as opposed to TL.
