Anandapur Yak & Yeti Restaurant?

I just called (Mon Oct 1) and they said no reservations yet.

I called wdwdine on Friday the 28th and was able to book an ADR for jan 5th at 6:00pm at the Yak & Yedi no problem

Do you think Disney really reads these boards? If so, don't you think they would see something like this and be really embarassed? If this doesn't tell them that they have a serious communication problem with their employees, nothing will.

Make sure it is for Yak & Yeti and not Tusker House b/c when I called on 9/29 my CM was confusing the two....at first she said they were accepting ADRs for Yak & Yeti but when I gave her my date (12/27) she said, Tusker House? and I said No, Yak & Yeti and she said We aren't taking ADRs for Yak & Yeti yet.

I called on 10/2 and they are still not taking ADR's. The lady I talked to said it would have character dining and also would be on the dining plan, but we'll see! She didn't have a specific date to call back to make ADR's.

Thanks for the update. It was previously on a "tentative" schedule that showed it opening in the middle of this month. Based at the slow level of progress in construction, I wouldn't be surprised at all to see it pushed back again to sometime in December at the earliest

Someone posted on TourGuideMike's forum that a WDW Dining CM told them Yak & Yeti wouldn't be opening until after the first of the year?!?!?! Can anyone here confirm or deny this?!?!?

I'm on TGM regularly and (a) never saw that post (b) haven't heard that from any other source. Sounds to me like just another "rogue" CM passing on their opinion, which is probably based on no more detail than what has already been shared here.
