The DW and I are going on our first ever DL trip Oct 15-22...we are also visiting my Mother who moved to Northern Cali last year. So this being said we decided to meet at DL.

Therefore we were looking for a two room suite for the 3 of us and I found Anaheim Portofino Inn & Suites to have the best rate for the 7 nights. $1100 total (taxes and everything) for the 7 nights for 3 adults...

I looked on Trip Advisor and it seems like the reviews have been decent, it's a place to sleep, which is all we are looking for.

Having said that has anyone had any experience staying at this property? Thanks!!!

btw My mother is leaving us on the 21st so the DW and I are staying our last night at Grand Californian (saving the best for last) :goodvibes

Just returned from CA and we stayed at Portofino Inn and Suites. We stayed in the suites with the bunkbeds, pullout sofa, and king bed. If you get that room the space is limited but we did not mind at all. It was just fine. The beds were comfy enough and the walk to DL was about 10 minutes. Served our purpose just fine. Do you have any specific questions that I can answer for you?

Thank You!!! I hope that you had a great trip!!!

I really only have two main questions.

1. Were the rooms clean
2. Was the staff friendly

We are very easy to please :)

We are staying in the King suite with the pull out queen sofa bed.

Glad to hear about the 10 minute walk, that is perfect for us!!! I'm glad that we won't have to drive the car everyday to and from the park. That $15 can go directly to Mickey Bars, Dole Whips and Tigger Tails :goodvibes

I'd be interested in hearing more as well. This hotel is on our top 3 list for December.

The rooms were clean. They brought plenty of towels to your room. Everyone I spoke with was very pleasant. We did have a problem with our toilet clogging 3 times but every time it was one of my teenagers so I wouldn't worry too much about that. lol Floor seemed clean because my socks never got dirty. There was no safe but we had lots of handheld electronics left in the room and no problems. About the walk, you can actually make the walking part a little shorter by going to the right when you exit your hotel and crossing at the next stoplight and walk into the Toy Story parking lot and take the free shuttle to DL. Also coming back this works for. We never rode it to DL but hopping on the shuttle and then crossing over at the light made for shorter walking distance when the sun was hot coming back. They don't ask if you are in the parking lot either. Same amount of time but alot less walking. hth :)

If you haven't bought tickets yet I would look into their Disneyland packages that include some tickets. We originally booked a reservation without it and I repriced with the package and overall we saved a couple hundred dollars buying our tickets through them with the room. Just price it all out first and remember this package includes the resort fee and taxes as apposed to other reservation quotes do not until you see the last page.

Thank you so much!!! :thumbsup2

I am calling Portofino right now to see if it makes sense for me to add the tickets...Through work I can get 3-5 Day Hoppers for $556.00 so if it is the same price or less I'll book the tickets through them.
