Anaheim Plaza/Garden Walk question

I just realized that the Anaheim Garden Walk is right behind the Anaheim Plaza Hotel. Does anyone know if that's going to make my hotel loud or anything?

I can't believe the Garden Walk is a freaking mall! When I saw the signs up for the Anaheim Garden Walk before they started building I thought it was going to be botanical gardens or something. Very disappointed when I found out it's basically a mall. So lame.

When I was there in June, the portion directly behind the Plaza had not been built yet. I believe most of the buildings are more along the Katella side, so you should not hear any noise from that far away.

Personally, I don't think of the Garden Walk as just a mall. It provides many affordable off-site dining options and is much nicer to look at than the ugly that was there before.

JanetJetson, I've checked it out a couple of times, and it's way better than the Block. WAAAY better.

I went to check it out for kicks and giggles, ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory. Went the next day to go watch the Sisterhood of Lucky Pants 2 (something like that, GF wanted to watch it), and WOW the seats are comfortable.

I'm lovin the food places as well, better selections than the Block.

I went to check it out for kicks and giggles, ended up eating at the Cheesecake Factory. Went the next day to go watch the Sisterhood of Lucky Pants 2 (something like that, GF wanted to watch it), and WOW the seats are comfortable.

I'm lovin the food places as well, better selections than the Block.

But in the end...it's basically a mall. If we get really bored we may walk over there. But more than likely we'll be spending all of our time at Disneyland, Downtown Disney, or with family.

So, can you enter AGW from the Plaza Hotel side, or do you need to walk down to Katella and over?

From what I can tell, I entered from the Katella side, and that seems to be the only side to enter from. But they DID have an entrance in the making on one side, I forgot which street it is coming from though.

JaneJetson, I was a bit disappointed in the mall aspect as well. I thought it was going to be more gardeny myself.

LOL do you mean Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants? I haven't seen it but I'm sure that's what you mean.

Yup, that movie lol. Surprisingly, I enjoyed the movie.
