Anaheim Hilton to GCH?

We'll be staying at the VGC during our upcoming trip. A dear friend from Texas just decided to join us, and will be staying at the Hilton across the street. Anyone walk across Katella to get to the Grand Cal before? It's their first trip to DLR and so they will want to walk over and meet us each morning before heading into the parks.

I've done this walk in reverse before - not a bad walk, just be sure to tell them to cross at the light, since Katella is a busy street.

Go West (left) on Katella Avenue to the light at Disneyland Drive (Coco's bakery and restaurant will be at the intersection, beyond the light on the left).

Turn right at the light on Disneyland Drive to head North.

Follow the sidewalk (it will make a half-circle curve at one point), and the Grand will be on your right not far after the curve in the sidewalk.
