Anaheim Amtrak station to Disneyland area

Is the ART our only option of transport from the Anaheim Amtrak station to the Disneyland area? We are staying off site at the Castle Inn. We can't take a cab because we won't have car seats with us. The ART website is confusing (when it works, it's currently down right now).

The only issue with ART is that you'll have to transfer. You'll take one bus to the Disneyland Resort, then transfer to another bus to get to your hotel.

I haven't figured out all the new routes yet. Ugh!

Within its relocation as part of ARTIC, it's a little farther away than before. Still, $20 should be sufficient, one-way including tips.

For the OP, the Orange County bus is another option that may run more frequently. Straight down Katella to Harnor, then walk down Harbor to the hotel.

If the ART schedule works for you, but you have a lot of luggage, I would be inclined to have one adult take a cab with the luggage and the other adult talk the baby and stroller by ART. Either meet at the park or walk with the baby to the motel.

Walmart are selling them in their stores also for approx $40.

Thanks for your advice everyone. A little more info, our kids aren't little (they will be 7& nearly 5 at the time of travel) so it's only booster seats.

I appreciate the suggestion on that booster seat but I'm not paying $80 for a seat both kids will use once! I'd rather haul our booster seats down from Canada on our cruise, but that is going to be SUPER inconvenient which is why we are not taking our own booster seats.

Would it be possible to order a cab to meet us at the Anaheim station and request booster seats at that time - do cabs even offer that??

I was trying to access the schedule as well. Does anyone know what is the fare for a ride to/ from the Amtrak station?
Do the buses drop you at the same circle right off Harbour?

So just to clarify, folks traveling by rail north of Santa Barbara should not plan on ART use at the Amtrak Station

Zulily has these for $29 today so I bought two!! Yay, now I have far more options for transport

I come into the Amtrak Anaheim station all the time and it used to be about $13 for a cab, now with the relocation, it says it's 1/4 mile more. I hope the new station is easy to figure out what train to get on, etc. I had the old station down pat and kinda dreading this newer improved bigger version. Is Uber an option in Anaheim?
