Hi Robin,
just saw this thread...wow...so happy to hear your mom is improving and no cancer! I know your being there has made all the difference. Going thru something similar with my Dad right now, only traveling back/forth from Chicago to Florida. Frist my mom, then my in-laws and now my Dad again. I agree that the nurse/patient ratio is important and even tho the PT will be difficult, it will help your mom immensly ( if only my Dad would cooperate with his )Hang in there, remember to take care of yourself too. What hospital is your mom at?
