A couple of thoughts:
Disney could learn a lot about how things should go from studying Universal, but I could go on and on...
We stood up and held our tray while we ate at Casey’s, because of lack of seating. Didn’t bother us. We had skipped what was easily an hour wait thanks to mobile ordering.
I don’t want to share my table with strangers and it has NOTHING to do with “ignorance.” Man that comment rubs me the wrong way. I have my own personal reasons for it that really aren’t anyone’s business. You want to sit with strangers? Have at it! Don’t judge someone who feels differently. My goodness how rude.

Obviously, some will have reasons I would understand, but the majority of reasons would be something along the lines of "I don't like small talk", "I don't like strangers" or whatever. For me (only speaking of me), those aren't valid reasons to deny your extra seating to someone who needs it. Do I agree that being introverted, not liking strangers is a great reason not to book the German restaurant? Yes, absolutely!
