Please give me your most specific advice on which double stroller was most convenient for you in Disney World.

The Sit and Stand stroller, or a double (side by side) umbrella-type stroller?

We will be using bus transportation daily, as we are staying at the All Star Music resort.

Any advice is appreciated....we are most interested in having comfort, storage space, and convenient, easy fold-up capacity for bus transportation.
Our daughters will be 8 months (not a walker), and 2 1/2 (very much a walker!).

Thank you!

it has been awhile since my girls were stroller age (they are now 11 and 12) but i would probably do the umbrella type where they could sit side by side.
even with a "walker" the world is very big and she will probable enjoy having a ride. plus the added storage space will be nice. jmho

We have an "in-line" double stroller and have taken it on 3 trips to WDW (Graco DuoGlider - we have not tried a side-by-side, so my opinion is one sided). We chose the in-line double stroller because it is easier to move around in crowds and in the stores which have tight aisles. It folds up pretty easily and has room for 2 diaper bags in the bottom. One disadvantage is that the youger one typically rides in the back and likes to pull the hair of the one in the front. When you are loading on the busses, ask the driver to open the rear doors (easier that trying to lug the stroller down the aisle).

If you park hop, you can wheel the stroller directly on the boat that runs from Epcot to MGM without taking the kids out (this is great if they are napping) - the same goes for the monorail from MK to Epcot.

Have fun.

My girls were 10 months and 33 months the first time we went. I had the long double stroller (we were at the Swan that trip). It was a lifesaver, being able to recline both girls if necessary. I personally dislike the umbrellas that don't allow reclining. Also, the side by side strollers take up a lot of sidewalk, and are hard to enter a bus with. We were always able to board buses in the rear with our long one, which is similar in length to the sit and stand that you're talking about. Good luck, that's a great age to take your little ones!

Too, funny, we posted at the same time. That's the same stroller that we had, and my hair experiences were the same!

We went in Oct with a 4 year old and a 10 month old. We bought a sit and stand stroller. There was not much storage but we managed well enough. The only problem we had was when the 4 year old wanted to sleep. He was too big to sit in the front part that reclined so he had to just sit upright in the back part. This may not be a problem for you since your oldest is 2 1/2 but it is something to keep in mind when buying. Other than this, we loved the sit and stand because the oldest could look at everything by standing and we could get through the parks faster.

We were there in Oct. this year with 3 little ones. This year I did a double umbrella for the older 2 (ages 4 and 6...yes the 6 yr old needed a stroller at night! ;) ) and a regular stroller for the baby.

Now last year when I only had 2 kids,(before baby) we took 2 separate reclining umbrellas. MUCH easier than having the double! My kids like to touch and pester eachother and the double stroller was a pain for that reason. Gotta say we LOVE the single strollers....

Good luck with your decision! :goodvibes
