Hi all, just lurking here. It disgusts me to hear about such violence and intolerance in todays society.
I am from N.C. but originally from South Miami. I am surrounded by hate on a daily basis. My mother is Native American but could pass for black, and we get comments and stares all the time. People need to grow up and learn to mind their own business.
When I go to WDW, I see parents yelling, hitting, ignoring their children all the time. You can see spoiled children throwing tantrums, cussing out their parents and just being horrible. I witnessed a father yelling at his 6 or 7 year old daughter. She was so fearful that she wet herself as everyone stared. He just said "good, you can stay like that" and walked away. I felt so bad for the child and wish I could have said/ done something, but didn't.
My point is, why do straight families behave as they do and can pretty much get away with it, yet a gay couple walks arm in arm or holds hands or kisses in public and they get yelled at, beaten and abused for showing love???

Apparently, homosexuality has been around for quite some time... what makes these homophobes think they could get rid of them today? People need to worry about what is happening in their own home and not what their neighbors are doing.
"What mean and cruel things man can do for the love of god."
"As far as I can remember, there is not one word in the gospels in praise of intelligence."
I wish I could remember who said these, but how true they are!
Just my humble opinion
