Well, with the servers being down the last two days, I have had to take a good look at my work situation. I have come to the conclusion that I really am not all that happy (or challenged) with my job. As a matter of fact, without the constant distraction of the internet, I almost drove myself crazy. As some of you may have read in a previous thread, things at my job haven't been all that great in any case.

And so, I have decided that it is time for me to seek a job elsewhere. I have submitted my resume to some very promising prospects, and I am very excited. I'd rather have a job I liked IRL instead of relying on the DIS to keep me entertained during the day. (Not that I don't love the DIS! )

So, did any of you come up with any epiphanies of your own in the past few days?

I got a lot of work done and read a lo of news reports.

Sometimes it just takes a little thing to bring about a big change in our lives. I hope you find a new job that you enjoy, Maleficient.

Hope you get a job that you will enjoy Mal. I was able to get things done in the house and outside.

Actually - same boat here too Kim.
(ETA - Kim? Who the heck is Kim?? heheh...sorry Mal!)

I realized that my bosses haven't given me any 'real' work to do in months...and making myself LOOK busy is just BS.
And I realized I would really jeopardize my eyesight by jamming a pen in my eye just to go home early.

think i need to work on my resume too.

I like the idea of having epiphanies. A little kid puked during one of my programs, but oh well nothing too inspirational about that.
