Just checked my JB rates. Still the same I am gonna keep obsessively looking though lol. We are flying SW down and JB back. Two completely different airports.

Keep watching...maybe you will see them come down!!

I love flight credits! I booked my mom and I's flights to Disney and they were $136 each way! I checked a month later and they were $59 each way! WE're flying southwest so I rebooked and go the credit to use for mine and my boyfriends flights down to Disney for the half marathon!

That is wonderful!! I love airlines that issue credits!!

Hi everyone! 8 weeks from now we will be staking out or spot for Illuminations...my favorite!!! I am getting so excited and it is really hard to contain it around the kids, but I will. It will be worth it in the end!!

Tyler got his dates for block leave!! He will be coming home mid November! I can't post the exact dates for his protection, but let me tell you that we are excited! He is going to be home for 20 days!!! Ken and I purchased his plane ticket as a Christmas present. It is going to be bittersweet for me because he is deploying to Afghanistan by the end of December. I don't know how I am going to get through that, but know that I need to stay strong for my family.

So, for now I am focusing on his time at home and am planning a Welcome Home Open House for family and friends and we have decided to hold Thanksgiving here at our house for all of our family and whatever friends Tyler wants to invite over. These next weeks until our trip are going to fly by!!

We are all so excited! It will be tough to balance family vs friend time for him. (That is why we are planning a couple of events) He will want to be with his friends and I will want him home more. I am sure that we will make it all work out!

Also, he and my DH are going to head to New York City for a couple of days to visit some friends and fire stations. It will be so good for the two of them and I keep telling myself not to be too jealous because of the trip to Disney that I have planned with the youngest two. I did tell DH that he needs to bring me home a suprise from the World of Disney store!! I am always thinking!!

Hm, I've got some bad news and good news for you. Well, the bad news is that Disney closed it's World of Disney store in NYC. You can imagine my surprise and disappoint when I went to go in and saw all the blackened windows last November... BUT, the GOOD news is that they recently opened one of their new INTERACTIVE Disney Stores in Times Square. I think there was a story on the Disney Blog or somewhere like that not too long ago about these new stores but I couldn't find it. I did find this though:

It looks pretty cool and your DH should be able to find you a very nice present in there! Just didn't want you sending him to the wrong place! Can't give him any excuses to come home without something Disney!

We had a party at our house last night for DH's shift and their families and someone mentioned that thay had heard that The Disney Store was going to open up again at our local mall. I was a perdiem CM there when they were opened before and loved it. You certainly don't make a lot of money there, but I put that extra money towards our vacations and loved the discount that I got. It was also nice to be around people that share the same love for Disney as I do!!

I am going to head over to mom's house (this is where all the goods are stashed) and we are going to put in a Christmas movie. I am going to wrap those gifts while my mom works on her crafts for her craft sale that she has at her house the weekend after Thanksgiving. I really want to get the wrapping done before Tyler comes home and this is one of those few days that Ken will be home to stay with the kids.

So, Payton, Caleb and I spent some of the weekend making Halloween Cards. Payton has already delivered hers but I wanted to share a picture of mine and then show you what my 4 year old son made.

First up, here is a few of the cards that I made:

Here is a picture of the cards that Caleb made. He picked out the paper, cut and glued them all by himself!

We usually do photo cards for Christmas, and like to make cards for Halloween and Easter.

Sorry for the quality of the pictures. I just realized that a certain 4 year old had been playing with it and there were fingerprints all over the lense and the flash setting had been changed.

Oh gift wrapping parties! I am so ready for Christmas, but my boss is making me wait til November 1 until I can start playing Christmas music at work! I think I have almost every Christmas movie ever made!

I'm sorry that I need to let you know that I did not get any pictures from the wrapping night. Mom and I watched A Christmas Story and I forgot.

We did the paid in full dance yesterday, and it really set in that we are going to Disney World when I looked online and saw a balance due of $0! YIPEE!!

Only a couple more weeks until Patches arrives.
