An e-mail pin just...

...popped up in my inbox!!!! It happened about an hour ago! Now I'm on the phone with Disney trying to see if I can make it work for us!! SUPER EXCITED!!

It seems to be really really weird to me because it's good for 20% off value and ??? off bigger resorts. (I'm doing the math right now.) The only black out dates are Easter (2 weeks), Thanksgiving and Christmas to New Year's. Our dates are not blacked out but I just want to figure out for myself how big the pin is since the e-mail doesn't say.

It actually seems kinda cryptic.

Sounds like they are beginning to roll out early 2012 discounts (other than the free dining).

When you figure it out please let us know! Maybe it means we will get one too! We are trying to book three deluxe rooms in late spring and it is ummm...costly!

I will gladly let all of you know when I find out all of the info.

I do know it will not go live on the online site for pins until the 26th but that tonight when I called Beach Club was already "booked/out" for my dates.

I'm not sure if it is 20% across the board or if it goes up in percent as you go to deluxe (which I hope it does). AND...of course I waited till too late to call back tonight after I got all of the quotes from our possible resorts.

I'll be back tomorrow with more info!

O.k. I will not be much help I'm afraid because the call center knew close to nothing about this pin but ....this is the FIRST 2012 pin they have seen. So they are coming out people!!!

It says in my e-mail that they have noticed that I'm looking at a vacation at Disney in March. I guess it's a good thing that I have been creating vacations for random times throughout the year and a few at each available time. I also called about one month ago to ASK if there were any pins associated with my name. At that time I gave them ALL of my new info since we had moved and this pin was in all of the new information so that may have helped me. I have even called to price vacations through Disney "just to see" what it would cost but would always say "no thank you" at the end.

The pin is valid for Jan. 1 - Mar. 31, April 15 - Nov. 16, Nov. 24 - Dec. 20, 2012. On the e-mail it specifically says, "Experience the Magic and Save
when you purchase a 5-night/6-day Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package that includes accommodations and Theme Park tickets!
Select Disney Value Resorts $ 555 * per adult based on adult double occupancy in a standard room. For stays most nights 3/9/12-3/31/12."

I called thinking I had to book a value but it is available through all levels of Disney. It's considered a "Room/Ticket Pin" but NO ONE I have spoken with has any idea what the exact percents are.

I have tried to figure it out using Port Orleans French Quarter (28% discount) and Animal Kingdom Lodge (32% discount) but I have not asked the poor CM's on the phone to do anymore than that because these are the two we are considering.

Anyone else get this? Help me figure it out!

Wow!! Is that 32% off AKL hotel or the hotel ticket package? I can only hope for something like that!!

Well we purchased tickets and hotel but no dining plan. I would say that it's 32% off both since we had both but no one in any of the three calls could tell me the percent off. I just priced it online for what I wanted, called to get the quote with the pin and found the percent my self. It was actually a bigger percent off than that because on my third call (when I actually booked it) they quoted me an even smaller cost for our trip! I am booked for POFQ for 7 nights!! I need to change my ticker!

If you don't mind sharing the quotes they gave you for tickets and accommodations there are many people on here that can figure it out I bet. congrats on the pin I know I rushed to my 7 Disney email accounts but nothing was there.
