An amazing TOT picture from 9/11/06...

We arrived at MGM around 9:45 and went straight to the TOT. It wasn't very crowded and I think they were running 2 elevators. When we hit the boiler room the few others in our group turned right to go to the closer car and my group of 3 went to the left. Obviously the park was packed that day...

This is the first and probably only time I've gotten to ride TOT with just my own party! We had to buy a few copies of that picture.

That's excellent! The only other picture I've seen like that is the CMs that work that ride. Of course, they have a bit of an advantage getting to ride ToT before and after the park is open.

I'm going with 13 other family members in May and am hoping to get a similiar photo. We might not be alone, but it'd be cool if we were all in the front rows together.

Great! We had a picture like that on our last trip. We were in out little spots and my autistic nephew started to stim and act out because of the waiting. The CM held us back and sent the rest of the elevator without us! We were afraid that we were going to be kicked off the ride. The CM said "don't worry" and that we would have our own private elevator. There were 7 of us, all family

BTW, I was at Epcot on 9/11/06 and commented about how unbusy it was that day...

We had the same thing happen to us! It was the last ride of the night and there were still a few people in line. But I was officially the last person in. They closed the gate right after I walked into the non existant line. And that is uber creepy.


So we got to the basement, everyone went to the right side, where the line was. NOBODY was in the other line so we went there. We walked straight on! And so it5 was just me, my cousin, my brother, and my dad. It was amazing



And we kinda flipped out when you know that in the story 5 people went into the elevator that fell...we were like "Only one more person and that would be F R E A K Y! But, it was a blast!


I wish we bought the picture though.

We have a picture like that from our trip in October 2004 - TOT was reasonably busy 10-15 minutes but once you were through the library area everyone was joining the line that turns to the right and not using the one that goes straight ahead. We were the only 4 in our elevator despite the bell hop shouting for "a party of 16 or less!!!"
