We typically stay at Yacht Club, but almost all of our stays have been at the Crescent Lake resorts (BC, YC, BW, S&D) with the occasional one night stay at GF or AKL. My ideal stay would have been a split stay between an MK resort and an Epcot resort. I am looking forward to spending the whole trip in the MK area though as it’s my favorite park.
When the discounts recently came out I was able to get GF for two nights and Deluxe Studios at the new Polynesian Tower - no discounted rooms at any of the Epcot resorts were available for our dates at all. We’ve always wanted to try the Polynesian so we figured the new tower would be great (and the regular rooms were unavailable). We’re only going to MK once while at GF for an after hours night - I’m hoping the monorail and/or boats will be running when it’s over?
My other question is, when we move to the Polynesian, how’s the monorail going to Epcot with the transfer at the TTC? Does this take long? I also read you can walk to the TTC but that might take just as long as a transfer. We’ll probably take the boat to MK but wondering about the convenience to Epcot.
