I have always been one to set high goals however, I don't believe my current goal is impossible. I would like to lose 30 pounds by 6/11/04. At this point, it's 12 weeks away which is about 2.16 per week ( I have already lost 4 pounds).

We are leaving for a family vacation in California on June 11th so, this gives me the incentive I need.

What is your current goal?

Hey Kelsie,
Good luck. There is no reason not to set your goals and aspirations high! You can do it! Just take it one day at a time!

My current goal is to lose 3.75 pounds by april fool's day. With TOM just around the corner it's going to be very hard.

I am such a SLOW loser that I don't think I could EVER meet that goal. Just be careful Kelsie that you don't measure your success by the scale or the tape measure. Measure your success by working hard at YOUR program to getting healthier. You CAN control how you eat and how you excersize but you cannot control the number on the scale. Measure your success of your goals by things that you CAN control and the loss of pounds and inches will just be an added bonus!

Good Luck Kelsie!:sunny:

My reaction is that it is a huge stress you may be putting on your system. While it can be done, don't lose sight of the need to be healthy about what you are trying to do. By all means try, just don't be disappointed if the number doesn't equal the date. Continue through the date to remain healthy by making healthy choices in eating and exercise. I wish you the best in your journey.

My goal is 32 pounds by Halloween:teeth: That would put me in the best shape of my life. I'm on a huge stall right now, but atleast not gaining. I figure that's about a pound a week until I go. But no matter how much I lose, I'll still be happy because I'm healthier! (and that's what should be most important to us all) Good luck Kelsie!

I have 1 more lb to lose by 4/1 to make my 11 pound April Fools Challenge goal and I will get my 25 lb clipppie
I'd be thrilled to get the 30 lb clippie by Easter but I don't think that is going to happen
long term goal is to be in onderland by christmas
65 more lbs to onderland
onward and downward

Kelsie, I also like to set my sights high, and give myself something to work for. I would really like to have my 100lb clippie by Easter :hyper: I don't know whether that is really doable or not, but I'm going to give it my best shot. I might not reach that goal, but I will be closer to it than I am now. ::yes::

my long term Goal is 40LBS by labor day
hopefully i'll be able to reach that

right now i am hoing for 3 more pounds by 4/1 so i can complete the no foolin around challenge and get my new clippie

Good Luck on your goal:D

Thanks! :)

I don't feel that 2 pounds a week is unreasonable but, I may be wrong. I am far past beating myself up for not making a goal. If I wasn't, I would be black and blue from head to toe ;).

I am just the type of person who needs a challenge and a goal to shoot for. If I make it, that's wonderful and if not, I will just make another one!! lol

I will keep everyone posted.

Good Luck with all of your goals!!!

I say go with your aggressive goal if you can work toward that, and if by chance you don't quite make it, you won't beat yourself up - then go baby go!!

I do seem to remember that you had cravings for snickers eggs last year around this time - leave that E bunny a special note not to even leave those this time ;)

and with a buddy like JohninIllinois - bet he'll will be right there to "whip" you into shape if you seem to be dangling a foot from that wagon.

Love to hear from you aggressive Atkins losers - gives me something to say "if they can - I can too" well never as fast but I keep plugging along!

My current goal is to let Ohmom work up an exercise routine for me and I will follow it and not panic that I am not doing "enough" - this is a struggle area for me. I am working on getting the last 10 lbs off and they just don't seem to be taking the hint to take a hike! Not claiming a calendar date to make them disappear just will continue to work on losing.

Kelsie, I have the same goal!!!

I want to lose 30lbs by June 19th.

I am with you girl...so far I am losing about 3lbs a week, I just hope it keeps going!

Kelsie, good luck with reaching your goal!!

As for me, I would like to lose 9-12 pounds by July 1st. That would put me at goal, but I have been struggling a bit lately so I am not sure if I will make it there, but it is definitely where I want to be.

Hi Kelsie,
No reason not to go for it! Good luck with your goal, but remember any weight lost is a reason to celebrate. I started watching what I eat and exercising on Feb.9th, with the idea of losing 20 lbs by my cruise date of June 19th, and 25 lbs overall. I have lost about 9 so far, (with TOM causing problems this week:tongue: ) I feel so much better since starting, and that alone is making this worth it. And although the weight loss isn't really big yet, I have had a lot of people notice, and I attribute it to the exercise, which has me slowly getting more toned.

Anyway, now that I am losing I think I may even be able to drop the overall goal of 25lbs. But if I don't make it, I know I will be looking and feeling better than I do now, which is a victory.

I've looked and looked but can't find the answer.
Please someone tell me what is onderland?
Thank you VERY much. If it's good, I hope to be there too LOL :)

Onederland is for those hardworking losers that break the 200 pound mark , and enter the one hundreds! It's a very special and wonderful place to be.... :wave2:
