Thanks everyone, that pasta was good. I get the Barilla Plus pasta, it has whole wheat and protein so its much better than regular pasta. My kids really liked it. Amy, my son also order's a caesar salad at most places, he's about 4'10" and 73 pounds! He really takes after me huh?
Yesterday was okay, I was really missing Lacey. I never realized how much companionship that dog gave me until she was gone. During the day she would always seek me out, give me a kiss and it was like she was almost checking up on me. So I was feeling blue so I decided to clean like an insane woman. I scrubbed, dusted, mopped, vacumed all day long. You'd think the mother in law was coming soon. I also worked out for 45 minutes. Then we went out to dinner with my parents. This was supposed to be our anniversary outing, they had talked about keeping Matthew and Maria but I could tell they weren't up for that so I just suggested we all go out. So we went for Mexican. What an experience! They had this canned salsa music playing very loudly, there was a speaker above our table, I couldn't hear myself think. We all had to scream to be heard, my stepdad is practically deaf so that was fun. He would get up, come around to my side of the table and say "come again". Up and down, all night. Then my mother immediately starts screaming, "have you seen my jeans"? I told her "yeah, they're on your body". Well not not these jeans my other jeans. She has lost them, she probably threw them out, who knows. She won't let this go all night, she is convinced I know where they are. My stepdad meanwhile entertains our meal with his saga of constipation. I love the way they just talk about totally different things at the same time and since we are all screaming to be heard it was even more fun. After about 30 minutes of constipation tales I couldn't even finish my dinner, now that is unusual and I guess my newest diet tactic. I'll just talk to him while I eat, he can relate his bm status and I can lose my appetite. I could see this couple at the next table sort of smiling through this whole conversation. I don't know when my parents suddenly turned so old. Reminds me of grandpa talking about his prostate by the hour. Then somehow they thought we were picking up the tab which was fine but suddenly my little romantic anniversary dinner turned into something quite different. We ended the evening with my going into the store to buy my dad laxatives, went back to their house and chatted awhile and then came home. Happy 14th to us!
Food yesterday:
Breakfast: Kashi w/ skim milk
Lunch: Spinache wrap with grilled chicken, romaine, 2% cheese. Really high in points because that dumb wrap was 4 pts by itself. Gotta check those labels before I eat!
Snack: tangerine
Dinner: half a chicken burrito and about half a chicken taco, chips and salsa and two glasses of iced tea.
Drank 120 oz. of water
Walked 45 minutes on the treadmill and I am counting another 30 for scrubbing down the whole house and lugging up about 10 loads worth of laundry plus organizing my basement. So 75 total minutes yesterday.
Thanks everyone, hope you all have nice weekends!
