Hi Amy
Was just on your website and tried to e-mail you to change a design for me just a little. It is not working for me, I don't think there is anything wrong with your e-mail, I think it is computer operator error!!! LOL Could you please take design WDW26 and change MGM to Hollywood Studios for me?
TIA

Here is your requested design...

Hi Amy
Can you personalize design GE99 for me? I'd like it on a white background and red lettering?

Can you also answer a question for me about transfers? What is the difference between dark and light transfers? Which is best? Also, I think I read somewhere if you don't want the white background to actually show up on a white shirt, you shouldn't use the dark transfers, but then someone else said the dark transfers are the best? I'm very confused!!! Can you please help?

TIA

7 days you will be able to get alot done. plan out what you really want to do and you will be able to get that done. don't know your kids ages but I went with a varied age group all their first times and they had a blast. Did they see it all.. no but we did see everything they really wanted to and then some. After 7 days I was ready to head home but a little sad too. Also TS takes up a lot of time and since we went during free dining that kept us tied up so try to do CS as much as possible to save time unless their are some TS your family really wants to do. You will find lots of great info here (sure you already know that). I got info from books, web sites, and the dis was by far the best info. Glad my Mom passed on this bit of info too me before our trip.

Your graphics are awesome!!! :thumbsup2 It is really great that you do this for those of us are not graphically talented :flower3: I was wondering if you could do a few for me.....

If you could please make one that says Disney World and nothing at the bottom and one with Disnay world again, and some saying at the bottom like chillin wiith my friends, or chillin with the gang, or something that sounds good? Thanks in advance!!!!

and now my take on transfers... for what it is worth. I use dark transfers for all my projects but that it because I like the matte finish on them and do not like the shiny of the light transfers (also because then I do not have to worry about whether one needs to be flipped and the other not)

But...if you want the white background to be clear on a white shirt, then light transfers are the way to go. Otherwise using the dark transfers, you will have a white box shape around your design. It's all personal preference and what color you are putting it on. I hope this helps!

Amy,
I would say 7 days would be enough. You don't say how old your children are, so you need to take that into consideration also. Magic Kingdom will take at least 2 full days:) I don't know where you are flying from, but, keep checking the different airlines. I finally booked with AirTran even tho, I really like JetBlue, but I couldn't justify the price. Enjoy the magic in the eyes of your children and hey, don't forget to make a few shirts:) I just finished my shirts tonight, all 21 of them:) Yahooooooooo:) Stay on Disney property too...best buy for you $$$$. We will stay at All Star Sports in August...transportation system is awesome...
Can't wait to hear what you decide...Blessings to you and your family:)

Well I am trying to wrap everything up this weekend & I have less done than I thought.:scared1:
Thanks so much for the Penny:woohoo: I love it and it matches the other ones. I am thinking (since we only have 5 days and 43 million shirt designs) that I am going to do the 4 parks, 4 generations one that I think you made and put the names under it? At least that's my plan at this point. The hardest part is narrowing it down. I don't know where to start.:confused3

I go to Disney at least once a year and this year I am going 3 times and there are still things I haven't seen. For example I have never been to one of the water parks. I don't swim and have no children so I don't go. Since you have been to Disneyland before I wouldn't spend more than 1 day there. I would just do the rides and things they don't have in DL. We always have breakfast or lunch at the Crystal Palace in MK. It's a must do for us. MGM is my least favorite park, but my nephews love it (it's their favorite). I use all ears, mousesavers (for discount information) and the disboard to help me plan. Spend some time lurking in the resort section and that will give you a great perspective on where to stay. My favorite is WL or the FW Cabins, but they both were getting a little expensive for my blood so we just bought Disney Vacation Club and love it. We are staying at OKW this trip and AKL Concierge next December. Since our May trip is only a 4 day one we will be staying at a moderate for the first time.

I think no matter what you do, you will have a good time.
Thanks again for the designs, I will post a picture of us when I return. :cloud9:

Thank you all for your advice. I am now telling hubby that we need to go for about 8 or 9 days. We'll see what happens and what we decide. I ventured to the other sections of the boards and am leaning towards Pop Century for the fact that it is on site, close and won't break the bank.

For anyone who wants to impart wisdom, some the things I am thinking of now are:

what rides are the same at WDW and Disneyland - that we could miss if we run out of time?

and what special dining is not to be missed? (my kids will be 12 and 8 - one boy, one girl - not a princess girl)

You might want to consder checking the DVC rental boards. You might be able to rent a villa for a really good rate. Consider that you will have a kitchen instead of always having to eat out for 8-9 days.

I haven't been to DL in years so I can't help you there. My not to be missed parks are AK & Epcot. However, many people love MGM. I won't even get there this trip and didn't get there last trip. :lmao:
I don't have kids, but I would be glad to give you Victoria's thoughts on the trip (she's 8 or 9 I think - Bad Aunt Penny not knowing the age :confused3 ). My two youngest nephews who are going with me in May are 13 & 14. I will ask them what they liked best as they were 11 & 12 the last time they went. I will report back in when I return. :goodvibes

Just posting a new Valentine design....

big_love.jpg

and a general design...

fab6.jpg

I LOVE the Valentine's Day design.

Could I please have one with Haley in the upper left heart & "I love you with all my heart" for the bottom text and another with David in the upper heart and the same I love you with all my heart. in the bottom text?

Could you post it blank/no text except the"happy VDay,"-no date so DD can make cards for her friends at school? She would  making them.

QUESTION:   Maybe I am out of the loop here. DD and I were looking at the other picture in the post- Can you or anyone tell us what is it that the characters are holding/wearing around their necks?

BTW-did you have luck with the website I suggested?

:thanks:
