Kacy and Kody are bestfriends. They call each other best as an endearment. I feel sorry for their brother because he always gets left out.

So who's going to Disneyland for their birthday in 2009? We got the free birthday email yesterday and Scotty and I's birthdays are together. Sounds like a good excuse for a quick weekend.

I registered for myself and the kids. Not sure if we'll make it, but hey it can't hurt!

I always wanted a sister. All I had was a half brother who is 8 years younger then me. We barely speak these days.
I hope all my kids stay close as they grow older. I always tell them no matter what family needs to stick together. Not sure if they hear me over their bickering though.

I made the Ghosts in the Graveyard tonight with the girls. It came out ok. We used candy pumpkins and ghost Peeps. It was really sweet. And very chocolatey. Not something you could eat a lot of. At least we couldn't, which is a good thing. LOL

Oh gosh I wish we could. I am game but he has to work tomorrow. Well I was kind of planning on doing the ladies only trip in march but Disney threw a monkey wrench into that trip with the free ticket thing. Scotty and my birthdays are May 2 and May 3 so we think we are going to do a fast family trip that weekend. Thnk you I decided I needed a holiday avatar. I was at Michaels earlier and they had the cutest signs and I will post pictures once I send them from my phone to the computer.

I love looking at those. I think I'm going to start collecting pieces to make my own Halloween village. I know so many people who do the Christmas villages. But I prefer the Halloween ones. I just wish they weren't so expensive. That's why I haven't bought any in the past.

Thanks. It's actually not a cake. That's pudding underneath there. It's so easy to make!
Ghosts in the Graveyard


Prep: 10 mins - Ready In: 1 hr 10 mins

1 pkg. (16 oz.) chocolate sandwich cookies
3-1/2 cups cold milk
2 pkg. (4-serving size each) JELL-O Chocolate Flavor Instant Pudding & Pie Filling
1 tub (12 oz.) COOL WHIP Whipped Topping, thawed


CRUSH cookies in zipper-style plastic bag with rolling pin or in food processor.

POUR cold milk into large bowl. Add pudding mixes. Beat with wire whisk 2 minutes. Let stand 5 minutes. Stir in 3 cups of the whipped topping and 1/2 of the crushed cookies. Spoon into 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining crushed cookies.

REFRIGERATE 1 hour or until ready to serve. Store leftover dessert in refrigerator.

To Decorate Graveyard: Decorate assorted cookies with decorator icings to make "tombstones." Stand tombstones on top of dessert with candy corn and pumpkins. Drop dollops of remaining whipped topping onto dessert to make "ghosts." (We used Ghost Peeps and that seemed easier to me.)

Thanks! And yes, it was easy! Thanks for posting it. When I was out shopping today I almost bought the stuff to make the Kitty Litter Cake (I posted links to it earlier in my PTR or you can Google it) but I am just not sure about that one. I'm afraid it will look so gross that no one will eat it and then I'll have wasted all my time and money. LOL We'll see.
