Yes, you can adjust the temperature in the roomettes. A control knob is located next to the headrest on one side of the room.

I think there are some variations between trains depending on locale with the west train roomettes having slightly wider beds.

There’s a major variation between roomettes on a viewliner and a superliner: roomettes on viewliners have sinks and a toilet in the room:



I don’t know who thought a toilet in such a small room was a good idea…

On superliners, the space where the toilet is occupied by sturdy steps up to the upper bunk:
