Not sure if I'm posting this on the right page but hopefully wil get some replies.
I just found out that a new AMS Whse was opening in Nashville and wondered exactly what this is. Do they have scrapbook items or is it mostly t-shirts and other souvenier items? The store is at least an hour away from where I live so before I take off on the journey through the concrete and construction maze of I-65, I'd like to know what to expect.
Thanks for any input you'll can share.

Karen

We just had an AMS leave from an outlet mall near us, and they mostly had stuff from Disneyland (being on the west coast no surprise here). It was T-shirts, plush, few collectibles, pins, costumes, etc. They were here for about two months and the merchandise changed a little. I also noticed the prices changing quite a bit some down but some up too. A little strange and definately a place you need to check out quite a bit.

As for scrapbook stuff...we did not have any of the "traditional" stuff but I bought some postcards, patches, and stickers.

It is a place you need to look at every table to see what they have and then try to figure out what the discount will be. It ranges from 20-70% off.

I've been to one here about a year ago. And it was mostly Disneyland stuff too, and we're on the East coast. Wonder where all the Disney World stuff ends up?

Cast Property Control behind the MK

Its a huge tent that sells damaged and overstocked park merchandise for about 75% There also is a Double Wide with the overstock character wharehouse type stuff for 20-80

So am I correct to assume that there isn't much from Disney WORLD so it's not really worth the time to go if you want FL stuff?
Thx,
Karen

Cast Property Control is Cast Member only but I know they have one or two discount stores nearby which I would assume theyd have some WDW merch...

We have one at our outlet mall-Sawgrass Mill in Ft. Laud and they sell tons of WDW stuff.

Becky, I am glad to se you posting this morning - that means you have power after Frances. You all have been in my thoughts & prayers.

GrumpyMom---Thanks for the website.....the location I need is open but only until 9/12. Not sure if I can make it by then but think I'll give it a go. It's over an hour's drive from where I live
but if I could get a friend to go w/me, it might be worth it. It's
near a MAJOR shopping Mall that I haven't been to in YEARS. If
we leave early enough maybe we can make it a shopping spree!
Thanks again for the info.

Just an FYI on the AMS Whse Store........What a waste of time!!
A friend of mine and I went Wed -- took us over an hour to get there and once there found almost nothing that was Disney World
related! Most was Disney LAND or US in Hollywood, not Orlando.
What little bit they had that was generic, was dated 2001!!! I was so disappointed. Saw absolutely nothing that was scrapbook related and only 1 or 2 photo albums or picture frames. Wish I had called before I left the house but we left at 9 and they didn't open until 10. Oh well, had a great day visitng w/a friend and enjoying lunch! Sure wish there was some place around here that has discounted Disney items!!

What a bummer! I have found that at the one that rotates here every so often sometimes has nothing but other times have picked up pretty good deals. My best deal was the Mickey Jackets that retail for $78 and I bought them for $17. The next time we went to Disneyland they had the same ones, still at $78!

If I ever see any WDW stuff at ours I will let you know.

Thanks Thumper'sMom. If they bring another one back to the Nashville area, it's going have to be alot closer to my town b-r
I drive all the way to Nashville agian!

Have a great day!
Karen
