Ample Hills Creamery Soft Opening TODAY 12-3

The creamery is having a soft opening today! If you're here, it's from 12-3. You get a coupon when you go in for a small cup, cone, or shake. DH and I just tried it and it was delicious!

Official opening is May 15.

What kind did you get? I am really excited about the opening of this place because their menu/web site looks delicious...there are way too many flavours I'd want to try!!

I was looking forward to this but it looks like the menu has too many gimmicky flavors for me. I'm a simple gal, give me chocolate or mint chocolate chip and I'm good.

Their ice cream is really good though. I can't believe that I live 3 miles from their original location, but the next time i'm getting their ice cream I'll be at Disney! They sometimes have this Mexican Hot Chocolate flavor that is AWESOME!!!

I'm so excited about this. I think that Boardwalk has such wasted potential and this is such an upgrade. I can't wait to go there and walk around Boardwalk with an ice cream - especially being that we're staying at Beach Club this year.

There is a few in NY - and one just opened in NYC. I may head there soon and give a review.

Went to the Brooklyn (original) location a few weeks back for the first time. It's fantastic.

the menu may be limited for the soft opening.... maybe it will increase once they get their rhythm down.

They have some of the BEST ice cream I have ever had. I do hope they add Snap Mallow Pop to the menu - it's my favorite flavor.

Not sure yet! Today, they were only giving out coupons. We don't have the Dining Plan for this trip, so I didn't even think to ask Hopefully there will be more information in the coming days though!

I got the oatmeal lace and the baked/unbaked. It was pretty good!! Sometimes there were too many large chunks of cookie or what-have-you, but otherwise it was a delicious post-Boardwalk Bakery dessert. Glad it was our last day otherwise I'm pretty sure I would've gained about 20 more pounds on this trip

I hear you! If it helps at all, some of the flavors appear just to have a fancy name/description, but are actually fairly basic. For example, the oatmeal lace was just pretty much cinnamon bun, and the baked/unbaked is like cookie dough. DH got the chocolate milk and cookies which was just chocolate ice cream and some oreos. I will say that there seem to be chunks in every flavor, and they're fairly overpowering, but otherwise it wasn't too too weird. Just fancy sounding when you read it

It was pretty good! I'm so so partial to "my" ice cream shop that I can't say it's the best I've ever had, but it's way better than the standard Edy's they serve at Beaches and Cream imo. I'm looking forward to trying some more flavors!

We usually stay in the Epcot resorts area so we'll probably end each evening there. We love unusual flavors . We feel you can get the standards anywhere.

I saw other other pics on FB that a single scoop cup or cone were a snack credit, not the shakes or sundaes though.

I agree. No shortage of plain chocolate Edy's all over the property for those with no sense of adventure.
