So, on our last trip I did a plan to ride 2 rides per hour. We did more like 4 per hour(in morning could fit many more and still were able to do at least 2 an hour at night w/ FP). This was during the Halloween season.
Now that we are going for the 4th of July I am wondering how many we will be able to fit in. We will be there from Friday the 1st til Wednesday the 6th.

Will I even get in 2 an hour on the 4th?

What about the other days?

Thanks ahead of time guys!

I will be going the same time as you. I figure if I do the basics of touring in the morning, itilizing fastpasses and knowing key strategies of how lines build, even on the busiest days I should get 3-4 rides in. The night of the 4th I have no rides planned and will just do filler things. And for the 3rd we are doing WOC at night. I will save most my riding for the Wednesday after the HUGE crowds have left.

Have fun!

On my all day trips, I keep track of my Rides/hour. I usually go during busy times, especially weekends. I have not been able to fit in 2rph ever, however, I usually do spend quite a bit of time waiting for WoC and Fantasmic. I usually go for 13-15 hour days. That's not normal though.

On a crowded weekend, I'm usually at about 1.7rph including breaks for food and relaxing (sometimes). If you have a very very good plan and DON'T do any of the shows, you can probably get 2rph. I can't imagine doing 4rph. I do like 7 rides in the first hour of the morning, but in the afternoon hours, that's just not possible.

We don't do shows or fireworks....just not an interest of ours. And as for the rides...I guess I didn't state it the way I meant it. We didn't get in 4 rides per hour but ...in the morning we could do around 7 rides for the first hour or 2 and then after that we would average 2-3 . Which would average out to around 4 rides per hour. We always were able to get in at least 2 an hour unless it was lunch...and I had budgeted in time for that. We are always there at opening and stay til around 10 or so(would love to make it to close but have yet to manage it...maybe this trip). But, I know with it being so busy...there is gonna be no hope for us averaging 2 an hour.
