We are staying at the PP and wondering what ammenities the rooms offer?
Here is what the website says.....is it correct?

• Disney's Paradise Pier® Hotel: irons, ironing boards, hair dryers, refrigerators, coffeemakers, phone with voicemail

Do they really have small fridges?

Also,
I just booked a character breakfast.
The Minnie & Friends at the PP.
What all characters will be there?
Where else can I find info on it?

Thanks for all your help!!!

It's been about 5 years since I stayed at PP so I'm not sure about room amenities. When I did the character breakfast there it was just Minnie and Daisy. I've heard Max is now there as well. I don't they ever have a lot of characters, like Goofy's Kitchen does.

Yes, the rooms do have small fridges. They are actually in the same cabinet as the TV. When we were there last month the Characters at the PPH (PCH Grill) breakfast were Minnie, Pluto, and Max.

I just called Paradise Pier--yes, there is a FREE fridge in every room. that is a bonus I would think. i have stayed there twice and enjoyed it very much. the private entrance to DCA is great too!

I have never attended the character meals so I cannot tell you for sure who will be there, sorry

also, they are having a 3 nite, 4th nite free offer if those are your dates?

When I was there a month or so ago, there were also characters at one of the restaurants at the Disneyland Hotel. This is an easy walk from the Paradise Pier so you might want to consider that as well. I was there for dinner - don't know if the characters are there for lunch. Also, the characters at this restaurant vary and the official word is that there's no way to know for sure who is going to be there. But we called at around 5:00p and, after a bit of prodding, were correctly told that Snow White and Jasmine were there. However, we were told that any given character can leave at any time, so there's no guarantee on who you'll see. Chip and Dale were outside of the restaurant for pictures while we waited to be seated. The waiting area has a system setup for taking pictures and then displaying them on television screens so than you can view and then purchase them if you like them. I took pictures with my own camera and no one seemed to mind.

At both the Paradise Pier for breakfast and the Disneyland Hotel for dinner, the characters would periodically gather in one place and have the kids come up and all dance together. This happened twice at each restaurant during the time that it took us to eat. If I remember correctly, at the Paradise Pier for breakfast, one of the characters also led all of the kids in a line around the restaurant.

My 5 year old daughter loved both.

Hope that helps.

They did that when we were there too. They also had the kids come up and dance and do the limbo. The kids all seemed to be having a ball and didn't seem to mind that there were only three characters.

We had dinner at Goofy's Kitchen and breakfast at Minnie & Friends. The character interaction at Minnie's was very disapponting ... only Minnie and Max were there, compared to about 6 characters at any one time at Goofy's.

The free fridge can save you lots of $$$, esp. on breakfast ... buy milk, yogurt, cold drinks, etc. I would also recomend PBJ or something else to have in the room when everyone is bone tired and just wants a quick bite before crashing.
