Just got off the phone with my Mom and she said the Amish people in her area did not work, etc. yesterday as they were celebrating their equivalent to our Christmas.

I am curious - does anyone know what the Amish call that celebration?

Yesterday January 6 was Feast of the Epiphany aka little Christmas, or 3 Kings Day.

It is a big day in Latin and German cultures.

Thanks, ratsrule!

That's what I told my Mom I thought it was.

:D

Today is the Eastern Orthodox Christmas. Many Serbians, etc. celebrate on this date.
