Amex Gift card for over $500?

I am purchasing DDP through a 3rd party and would like to pay with an Amex Gift Card. The price will be over $500. I have never bought a GC for this amount. Everywhere I would purchase a gift card the amount I can only buy is for $100.

Does anyone know where I can purchase one for over $500. and the process fee will not break the bank?

And in fact, I have an offer on my AmEx to get $10 back if I spend over $200 on AmEx gift cards through their site -- so you may also be able to add that offer to your card (assuming you have an AmEx) and order the GC directly through them. The $10 will almost offset the $8.95 shipping and $3.95 purchase charge

I'm not sure where you could by one that would avoid the shipping.

Our local supermarkets sell $500 Amex gcs and the fee is $5.95.
Sounds like the other post has some good advice though!
