I have another name on here but I forgot my PW and can't login and the e-mail address I signed up for is no longer valid.
Soooo, I had to create a new name to ask this question.
I have several mutual funds and just 2-3 stocks on Ameritrade. I just sold my shares of Google because I don't want to wipe out all the profits I've made. I wanted to reinvest this $ in another stock (AEOS). However the money does not show up in my funds available for trading. It does however show up in my cash balance.
Am I not allowed to use this $ to purchase another stock? Is it only available for withdrawal? Or does it have to clear or something?
I couldn't find a specific MB related to Ameritrade so I e-mailed them this question and figured I'd post it on the CB>
