Amerisuites Universal

I have just got this hotel on a Priceline bid. I have never heard of it before. It is right next to Universal Studios and only opened last year. Has anybody stayed there. I won't be hiring a car. Will this be a problem due to location or are there plenty of restaurants and shops nearby? Any info much appreciated.

I've never stayed at this one but have stayed at other Amerisuites in other cities and always found them to offer a clean, reasonable room for the price.

I'm staying here in June and would also like to know if anyone else has any info on this hotel.
