Has anyone stayed here? What are the rooms like? There are three of us. Restaurants nearby? How would you rate the shuttle? And the most two important things, how was the free breakfast and were the beds comfy enough?Oh and I guess was it clean too? (I don't want much info  ) ann

Hi Ann ~

DS and I stayed there in February for the night before our cruise, and we loved it. I love AmeriSuites, period -- they're consistently clean, comfortable, and friendly. The room was really nice, with a separate sitting area and kitchenette. The t.v. swiveled so that you could either watch it from the couch (which we did for a while and had some snacks) or from the bed. It was just a really nice room. The breakfast was kind of a super-expanded continental breakfast, buffet-style. They had all different types of muffins, danishes, bagels, donuts and toast, different types of cereal, even hot french toast. And of course, different types of juice, as well as milk and coffee. And the seating area to eat is very nice, as well -- big comfy chairs, 4 to a table.

The shuttle worked great for us. It leaves every half-hour, and you just have to show up to catch it -- no reservation or anything. I don't think there were any restaraunts you could walk to... we were so tired, we just grabbed some different snacks from the vending machines and called it a night.

Hope this helps -- let me know if I can answer any other questions about it!

thanks gina it's always hard staying somewhere new, like you we are staying there the night before. It will be great to be rested for once before a cruise instead of the usual get up at 4am and fly out!

Barb & Tony stayed there last November before their Thanksgiving cruise. My family and I were in Orlando at the time for a visit to the Mouse, and went to their hotel to have breakfast with them. It appeared to be a very nice hotel. They certainly seemed quited pleased with it. I think they said there was a Friday's nearby. And although the hotel offers breakfast, we went to the Denny's two blocks away.
