Amerisuites - Calypso Cay

Does anyone knowif there is anything within walking distance of the Amerisuites? We are staying there for three days in April, and I would like to do some walking if there is anyplace to go. Shopping, groceries, touristy shops?

I stayed there in December 2003. It's in the middle of a condo area that doesn't have much within walking distance. It is a pretty and quiet area, though.

We stayed there this past Jan. The only thing close (walking distance) is an outlet center across the street and up a few blocks as a kind of yucky looking stip of stores and gas station. My husband walked to the gas station for some waters and snacks.

All the other grocery stores, resturants are a short drive away but IMO too far to walk.

Nothing good to walk to. But, we stayed last year and used the entertainment book. It was the best bargain in a hotel I've ever experienced. New, clean, easy drive to Disney--and 50 bucks a night included a hot breakfast for 4 people!
