I don't watch the show, but my DD15 does, and she said Danielle won. She wanted Joanie to win, though.

I liked both Danielle and Joanie. I think they were the most talented and gracious finalists ever and both deserved to win, but had to go for Danielle since she's from my state. And no, I don't talk like her! lol

OMG..I was soo happy when they kicked Jade to the curb!! Her attitude was unreal!! I really liked both Joanie and Danielle. But the way the judges were talking had me thinking that Joanie was going to win...so I was most def shocked to see Danielle's picture on the screen!! But I was happy with either of the girls winning!!

I've noticed they seem to do that every time. Who ever it sounds like they will choose as the winner never is.
I am also glad Jade didn't win! She had such an attitude and nothing was ever her fault.

My sentiments exactly! DH and i were watching it and felt that most working models do print and runway - they don't have to talk much. A rare few get commercial/tv/movie work. Danielle will have to do her promos "My Life as a Cover Girl" for next season's show, but it only airs during the show, so if the accent isn't hidden by then, it won't be such a big deal because us ANTM views are used to it. I'm sure that Tyra's folks will pay for her voice lessons. People can and have changed their accents, without insult to their origin - Rachel Griffiths, Nicole Kidman, etc. I think that Danielle was extremely gorgeous with a drop dead body (her body was better than Joanie's for modeling. Joanie was a little thick waisted for bikinis. Now don't get me wrong, I have nothing against any size, especially my own. But I know what agents like to see under a bikini. Unless, of course, you are a well known model.) She'll can be taught to be more versatile in her posing.

I am happy for Danielle. I really liked Joanie though. I think she'll find work regardless because she is so classically beautiful. I had to laugh though when she did not know who Grace Kelly was!

I loved them both, too, and just jumped up and down when they got rid of Jade. I figured it was time since they no longer needed her for the conflict between the girls...

Joanie and Danielle were always my favorites. I loved how they both persevered and didn't let their flaws get to them.

As for her voice, my ex co-worker made a living doing voiceovers for models! And does anyone remember that Sports Illustrated model whose voice sounded like she inhaled helium? She went to voice class and she learned how to speak in no time.

My husband watched the end of the penultimate episode with me and saw Jade and predicted she would win b/c she looked multicultural. I told him about the "evil" critic who looked at Jade's pictures in a previous episode (for a challenge) and said she looked like a tranny, and he added "mulitgendered" to his description of her.
