You clearly have never watched a Raptors game. A few minutes is plenty of time for them to piss away a double-digit lead and then claw back for the win in the final 17 seconds. Happens all the time!

It's your thread, but I thought we agreed this was going to remain a soccer free thread because you have three or four others to choose from. I was not bashing you or attacking you at all, it's just a lot where every second post is four you tube clips that no one asked for. Plus, I wasn't the only one saying enough is enough, althought I may have been the most vocal.

Goals can happen at any time, it’s the build up play that most find boring (to the untrained watcher). Soccer players run an average between 7 to 10 miles a match. 7-10 miles?? That’s insane. I wonder if they’re the most physically fit athletes because of that.

YouTube has examples, if your interested in the training regiment of the MLS/CPL players. In college, I did intramural soccer (I wasn’t good enough for the college team level), and I thought I had good endurance being able to run around 3 or 4 miles in games. We once scrimmaged against the college team for a practice game and I was reduced to a super sub instead of a starter for my intramural team (I couldn’t keep up endurance wise against them, some of who became eligible for the MLS draft which was kind of cool looking back on it).

Edit: Sorry @declansdad, it just made me laugh to think some people only care about one franchise in your whole county. No need for the frown face. Personally, I think Canada has some of the best run sports franchises in North America.

There used to be two. But that was a long time ago. And there have always been Canadian players. I remember probably the greatest Canadian player in history. I was a grad student at Santa Clara University when they had this pimply faced freshman with a crew cut from Victoria, BC.
