American Vybe at Epcot

Is anyone here a fan of American Vybe at Epcot? It seems like I never hear people talking about them here and I think they are INCREDIBLE. In one of their shows last week they did “Proud to be an American” and “True Colors” and it was amazing. They are just so unique and are close to being my favorite act at Epcot (right up there with British Invasion and Off Kilter).

American Vybe is excellent, but the Voices of Liberty are my favorites. I used to be disappointed with American Vybe b/c they didn't seem to really be using their voices to the best advantage, but this seems to have improved as the group has matured. I've never heard them do "Proud to be an American" (I've heard VoL do it and when Ryan or Tracy does the solo verse my eyes always tear up) but I do really enjoy Vybe's arrangement of "True Colors."

If you like American Vybe, you also might want to check out Toxic Audio. They perform fairly regularly here in Central Florida but also just got back from a gig in NYC. Michelle from Toxic Audio often sings with American Vybe and Jeff from American Vybe has been filling in at times for a toxin who is fighting some health battles.

I'm a huge Voices of Liberty and American Vybe fan. In fact, I love all a cappella music, and sing in a group, myself. Don't forget about "Four for a Dollar". They perform before Beauty and the Beast at MGM on certain days. They're great, too.

By the way, any a cappella fans out there heard "Magic Kingdom in the Sky" from the group Da Vinci's Notebook. It's hilarious! All you WDW fans will crack up!

Thanks for the link PammyK – I’ll have to check them out. I heard VoL do “Proud to be an American” too. It’s really interesting to hear that song in two such different styles, and it’s beautiful both ways. DramaTech, thanks for the reminder about Four for a Dollar. I really do like them and I usually don’t get there early enough to hear them. Amazing that these incredible groups are pretty much just considered pre-shows.
