How busy are the parks the first week of December? I have holidays the 4th to the 8th (including the weekends), but I am a litttle worried about the American Thanksgiving. How busy does it get and when do the crowds die down? I love to go when it is NOT too busy. Thanks.

According to reports as well as the unofficial Guide best days, the week after Thanksgiving is rather light. It has the extra benefit of value season starting that Sunday (at least at value resorts) and Christmas decorations being up.

So I think it sounds like a nice time to go! :thumbsup2

This is when I'm planning on going. As I understand it, the Monday following Thanksgiving is the beginning of the least crowded time of the year. I hope that holds true. It's supposed to be crowded through that Sunday, though.

Count me in, I hear it is a great time to go. We will see in 9 months :cool1:

We were there last year after Thanksgiving. It is definitely less crowded than other times, but there will always be some crowd. We were able to ride everything we wanted, with usually short waits.

We were there this past week after Thanksgiving and it was wonderful!!
We started a park the Monday after Thanksgiving but my sister and family went to AK the Sunday after Thanksgiving and said it was empty. Next time we go we'll begin at AK on that Sunday. The next weekend was pretty busy with the taping of the Christmas parade at MK.

Thanks for all your help. It is not set in stone that we are going just thinking about it. I was a little worried about the crowds.
