American Idol Tour

Anyone going to be able to see the American Idols on tour? They are coming here on August 6, and our tickets were not supposed to go on sale until this coming Friday. My hubby went on-line to check and see if prices were listed last night and they had a blurb at Ticketmaster about a pre-sale starting at 10:00 this morning. I got on-lline and kept hitting refresh, refresh, until the screen popped up letting us order, and I got tickets on the floor in the 26th row. I am so excited.

I bet there will be a lot of people in our area that are very disappointed in the seats they get cause they think they aren't selling until this Friday. I am in Raleigh, where Clay is from, and as you can imagine, he has a huge following here.

I'd love to go to the mid-August show in Birmingham, but I'm worried about competing for tickets with all the Ruben fans. It's the closest show to me, and right around my birthday!!

I really, really, really want to go to that concert, and I'm not usually a big concert person. They're supposed to be at the Continental Airlines Arena I think on July 31, and tickets don't go on sale until Saturday. I decided to look online since people said something about pre-sale, but I didn't see it listed on Ticketmaster, so I guess I just have to wait until Saturday. I really hope it's not sold out quickly, because this is one concert I really want to go to.

Continental Airlines is included in the pre-sale - I couldn't find it at first in the bunch, then noticed that they had the "NY area venues" grouped at the top of the page.

I bought tickets for Philly - we're in the first row of the second section on the floor if it's end stage; front row if it's center stage (I'm betting it's endstage, but it would be nice!)

Our kids really want us to take them but I didn't see the tour coming to Illinois OK - I just checked again and they are coming July 9th!!! We're going to look into this!!

Cost me $222.45 for 4 tickets (with all the charges, etc.) - @ $56 each.

Just got our tickets!! They were $45.00 each for lower level. Our kids are going to go nuts when we tell them!!

I checked a couple days ago and there were only 22 dates listed, but when I checked today there were 35, so Continental was listed. I waited for my mom to come home and we ended up getting 4 tickets in the lower level. I'm so excited!!

I just got tickets in Seattle for me and my two sons. It at an arena so it was $35 each (plus handling charges)for row two on the lower level bleachers right behind the floor seats. Yay!!! Who's the best mom in the world? It must be me. (I hope my kids are excited as I am - I'm planning on selling it as if I did it for them, yeah right.)

Thank you so much for posting this! I was able to get lower level presale tickets for Indy that I would have NEVER known about!!!!

Now DH and I will just have to worry about being the oldest people there, LOL.
