I'm weird like that... I hyper focus on things when I watch TV. Sometimes I can find out of place things, continuity errors, or even visible equipment.

Yep, watching is sometimes distracting. Half the time I only know what they look like by reading the remarks here.

I only watch my faves. I cannot stand watching Kris make that crooked mouth move even though I do like his voice. Matt and his JT/Frank Sinatra act turns me off, too. It's better when my back is to the TV.

I did not like that. Adam sort of weirds me out somehow. Danny is consistent but tonight was kind of boring. Allison did a good job. I don't care for her outfits but her voice is really strong. I believe she will go far in her career no matter what happens in this competition. Kris surprised me tonight. Lil was kareoke...again.

Danny is consistently boring. They crapped on Lil and Matt for not changing their songs up and completely gave Danny a pass and he just mimics the original every single week.

I liked Adam OK tonight, but I was really hoping for an all-out disco meltdown performance from him. He could have so pulled that off.

I have to agree - I mean if anybody could do disco with the costumes, the eye makeup, the dance moves it would have been Adam. I'm disappointed that on disco night 5 contestants took the "ballad" route - almost as bad as last week. I think singing a fast song would be a challenge and I really want to hear how they do it to. I'm not even sure Kris or Anoop can do anything except ballad or folksong tempo and that's not good. I've played shows with Diana Krall (and have another one with her next month), and every single one of her songs are the same speed - slow. I find an entire show of that incredibly boring.

Lil was clearly thrown under the bus by being put in 1st place and then torn apart by the judges, so she's definitely going home. The other person in trouble is probably Matt, but it would be the ultimate irony is Matt stayed and Danny or Allison leave tomorrow.

Actually, he could probably pull it off and all of us that him would think it was fabulous, but it wouldn't have been the smartest move. There are people out there that would be turned off by that and would not vote for him ever again if he really went diva on us. But, I am not surprised that he did a slow song. He seems to be having a pattern of fast/slow/fast/slow. Unless I got one of my weeks out of order on the downloads I've been listening to every day.
