The best is my dh. 6'3, bald and tattooed. His zune playlist includes Pantera, Slayer, Sixx A.M., KISS, Metallica, Nine Inch Nails and "See You Again." Uh WHAT!?! He's like "it's catchy!" Uh ok!

i think the talent pool is really drying up. it started last season and it's continuing into this season. maybe they should take a season off.....or maybe change the rules up a bit, maybe let some older contestants get in instead of having the cut off at age 28

did anyone see the woman that Ellen actually had on her show it was yesterday or today, she looked like she was maybe in her mid-30's and she was AMAZING!

well every band/singer has at least one song(if not many) with lyrics that make no sense.

but from Nickelback i actually like a lot

How You Remind Me, Too Bad, Never Again, Someday, Feelin' Way too D*mn Good, Figured You Out, Photograph, Savin' Me, Next Contestant, If Everyone Cared, Rock Star, Something In Your Mouth lol

And snowballs have a better chance in hell than a contestant being allowed to do either "Figured You Out" or "Something In Your Mouth"..... Or even some of the lyrics that pop stations censor out of "Rock Star".

yeah they're so limited with what they can sing on this show, too. and i don't understand how they can cut out the word "drugs" yet no one apparently minds if he sings about girls being "easy" to me if you can't play the song as it's originally performed on the single, don't play it at all.

i can't believe Didi started crying, yet the girl before her(who is 16, none the less) was perfectly fine with the bad critiques.

and Didi reminds me of Brooke White....hated her too...

No I just can't bring myself to do that. You know Darth, being from this area, my hubby is a musician and I actually know a couple of those guys. While I love Chris and can testify that he really does seem to be what he comes off as, I cannot say the same for all of the band. Personal connections gone bad and all.

Oh my lord I saw her. AMAZING! What a great talent!

X Factor allows a bigger age range (or none at all?) so we'll have to see.

I totally agree that the talent pool is drying up starting with last season. Season 7 was great but it really wasn't as good last year.

I like that idea a lot! Let's open it up and not limit a cut off age to 28.

I've had AC/DC and Vanilla Ice on a playlist on my Ipod. (mine randomly "grabs" songs when I set it to "autofill" and let it load and charge overnight)
