I stopped watching and didn't keep track of what I watched/suffered-through, so I'm using some of Jennasis' list...

Mike Lynch: "This is A Man's World". Phenomenal vocals. i could see him having an R&B career, but I felt he had no "swagger" on stage. Still love him though.:thumbsup2

I think he was the best and is the one to beat next week....which isn't saying much about the competition.

Jon Park: "Gravity". Good song choice for him. Just nothing special.:confused3

Boring, bland, not memorable, snoozefest...WHY do the guys pick such sllllllllooooooooooooowwwwwwwww songs? I like them, don't get me wrong but EVERYBODY picked almost the same beat & feel. WHEN is someone going to rock the house?

Casey James: "I don't Want To Be".

Alex Lambert: "nobody Knows". I dug this alot. he has such a cool "Mraz" sound. Still looked terrified.:cool2:

Todrick Hall: "What's Love". Ugh...another smarmy dude who smacks of effort. Trying so hard to be cool and unique with his arrangements. He's just not all that.:sad2:

Can't remember either Casey or Alex which brings me to...

Todrick. Todrick, Todrick, Todrick....perky upbeat performances of "world-weary" songs just don't cut it dude. You're an actor and you sadly ignored the text, I expected better of you.

Jermain Sellers: "What's Goin' On". Indeed. I don't even know who this guys IS. :confused3

Does this BOY understand what this song is really about?!? It's a very deep lyric buried inside one of the coolest grooves ever....and ANYONE who ignores the lyrics and goes instead for the groooooooove is a musical idiot. This performance was an embarassment and actually made (and still makes) me angry.

Andrew Garcia: Terrible.

Aaron Kelly: "My Girl"...another boring choice of song. WHY do these young guys insist on choosing these old school hokey songs?? With all of Billboards possibilities, THIS is his choice? He smacks of effort. KWIM? Like he's trying super hard to be great. It isn't working. :guilty:

Tim Urban: Once again. Poor Chris Golightly.:headache:

Yeah, Chris got screwed. I still am waiting for someone to PUH-leeze ROCK THE HOUSE!

agnes!

OMG you are cracking me up with the dirt!:lmao: I was thinking more along these lines...

..Ace was leaps and bounds hotter then Casey....

Last night was so dull. I mean I did like Michael's, Casey's and Lee's perfomances but I am so sick of hearing ballads. They need to shake it up and do more. I do not think I will last the whole season if things do not pick up.

Lee was the best of the night

Mike was really good as well.

Don't shot me I think Tim is getting much better. I don't think he is as bad as the judges are saying.

I wish they would put Simon. Kara and Randy sitting together like last week. Ellen is just horrible as judge.

I hope Toderick and Jermaine go this week

I really like Michael's voice, but not into R&B.

Absolutely love Casey - his voice, his hair, his smile, his eyes...

Aaron is so cute, and I like his voice.

Didn't care much for Lee last week, but thought he did great this week although I agree about him having no stage presence. Hopefully he will improve.

Who I want to go home? John Park and Tim Urban

Get out your skis everybody, and make sure you were a lifevest, because not only is the show jumping the shar, but the tow boat is sinking. Personally I think Simon stacked the deck this way with the contestants to pave the way for X-Factor.

Thinking back on the early auditions, there were a boatload of folks who would have been an improvement. Heck, even Mary (the rocker chick with the tude) would've blown these hacks out of the water.

:scratchin you might be right.....

Mike: Much better, gave me some SOUL!!

John: Much better but dead

Casey: Not as good as last week, but still my boyfriend!

Alex: I kind of like his voice, but he's kind of boring.

Toddrick: Ugh

Jermaine: Ugh with an Urkle vibe

Andrew: Gives me the creeps, ugh

Aaron: Cutesie but forgettable

Tim: Real adorable, should try out for Nickelodeon, Disney or Glee.

Lee: Alright, voice is good but has zero stage presence.

Best (or least worse): Mike
Worse: Jermaine
Who goes: Aaron/Jermaine
Who should go: Jermaine/Toddrick

Not looking forward to the girls, at all! :surfweb:

I agree with Robinrs so much on last nights performances that I am not even going to type my reactions, I'll just echo her opinions. I would like to correct an earlier poster(s) who keep saying that Casey James should stick with country. This guy is not country maybe a southern rocker along the line of Lynyrd Skynyrd or Tom Petty. I am not a country music fan but since I live in Nashville I hear enough country to say that I don't get the whole he sounds kind of country thing. Southern rock is one of my favorite types of music and, other than originating from the same area of our country, I fail to see the connection between the two. There was even a time when the Grand Ole Opry would never have let these types of performers on their stage.

Sermon over. Thanks for listening.

When they realized what snoozers the boys were this year, they should have done a wild card for the final two and chosen girls. I'm bummed too that my fav girl is in the hospital. I think she has a really great stage presence and style that we haven't seen before PLUS she can belt a song and stay in tune.

When I saw Jermaine last night, all that I could think was Pee Wee Herman! :happytv:

When Ellen said that she liked his look, I just about fell off of the couch.:lmao:

Problem is I think they REALLY thought they had WINNERS this year. I think they held a LOT of hope for Lee, Andrew, Mike and Tim, knowing that they were the type to get a following and boost the ratings. The rest were basically fodder to make their guys look good. UnFORTUNATELY, they all turned out to be basically eh... and their GREAT guys are not holding up their end of the deal.

I think Ellen just brings up what everyone else is THINKING.. (the neck tat, the outfit) in a tongue in cheek sort of way.

Jermaine is PeeWee and Steve Urkel's LOVE CHILD....

GMTA!! :thumbsup2

Sorry, ladies. Bumped the other thread not knowing this one had been created. :guilty:

Tonight was a lot better than last week. Alex stood out to me, and made me proud. I want him to keep shining like he did tonight.

I just don't get what the big deal is about Lee Dewyze. He just does nothing for me...
really? He's my favorite!!!! i really like his voice.
and i like his story too. i hope he goes far, and gets to prove that "bad teen boys" CAN make something of themselves!
and if this show does change things for him, i hope he handles the fame and fortune right!!! (or he'll just be confirming that he was bad all along!)

:love:Looooove Matt Damon.

The only NON pretty boy I like is Seal. Sometimes sex appeal can make you pretty! :lovestruc
that's so funny that you use seal as an example. i have thought that about him soooo many times, but everybody thinks i'm a freak for thinking he's hot!!! :lmao:

I like Lee Dewyze, but i think he sounds like he's passing a load on the toilet when he's singing.
