Ugh, I like Jermaine even less after that. I can't stand when people say, "Jesus is my homeboy." I guess I'm too traditional, but I find it so obnoxious and disrespectful. Sorry.

So do I. Sorta like that Phil Collins song, "Jesus, He Knows Me".

i know this'll be an unpopular opinion but....i hate when people bring religion up period on shows like this. i'm not saying to hide it, but this is a singing competition. if you wanna sing a Gospel-y song i'm all for it, i like some of them, but you don't need to go on and on about why you choose it and "Jesus is my main man!" ok .....can we just get to the singing, please??

it's the same with the hair style/clothing thing. I DON'T CARE! just sing please!

and i think Jermaine dug himself a hole with how much attitude he gave this week. people aren't going to like that at all.

I think they bring it up just to get votes. I think Danny Gokey preached his love for Jesus and look how far he got.

I agree. You don't have to hide your religion, but I don't want people to exploit it in attempts to win votes. I feel the same way about all the sob stories. We've all had adversity in life, now get up there and show your SINGING talent. We're not voting for you b/c you've had asthma all your life or your puppy just died.

i honestly think that's why it aggrivates me. because it makes people get further in competitions than they really should.


and i can't tell the difference between ANY of the songs the contestants sang tonight, i'm being really honest here, except for Casey because he sang an upbeat song. the rest of them are all blending together because of how boring/sleepy they all are.....
