To me Fantasia is "common."

Jasmine is this year's Carmen. (Maybe we should get Hawaii to secede from the Union.)

Diana gets my vote from this point on.

How did Jasmine get back in? My jaw hit the floor when I saw her sitting there! Oh, nevermind, it was George ( ) that was voted out last week not Jasmine! HA! I guess I just wanted her to go, so I made it happen in my mind!

Fantasia does sound like a cartoon character, Simon was right! She is annoying!

Jasmine got the sympathy vote- you'd think the judges would learn NOT to tear the kids apart that don't do well, it's one thing to say it wasn't good but they all laid into her last night. As soon as she started crying I knew people would vote for her because of that. Americans love the underdog and in general don't like to see people broken down to tears so hence Jasmine stayed this week.

Personally I voted for Diana last night.

I'm done with American Idol this year. It's fine for everyone to have their favorites and all of that but it's obvious that this competition has nothing to do with talent. No personality? Give me a break! If they wanted personality, they should have kept Amy.

Jasmine is cute and sweet but doesn't exactly exude personality plus she doesn't sing well. Fantasia overdoes the personality IMO. But then again we all have our favorites like I said.

What do you mean "get back in" ? "they" are the American public...they kept Fantasia and Jasmine by their voting...or lack thereof..........

As far as a singing career goes, I think LaToya will come out on top. IMO she was the best!

I attribute a lot of this to Simon. Have you noticed that everytime he says "YOU will be the one to go, pack your bags!" then that person is safe? I think he ticks people off and they vote for spite rather than for talent.

I tried to vote for Diana for ages last night and could never get thru so I am not surprised she made it easily. It will be interesting to see what the theme for next week will be, but Jas better stick to ballads if she wants a shot, she just can't sing uptempo songs and support her tone.

No worries, LaToya fans, she will have a record contract before Idol crowns it's "winner".

Fantasia and Latoya (in that order) are the best American Idols for this segment. The others are not even close! If Fantasia does not win it will be another Clay vs Ruben deal in which the "loser" will make it bigger than the winner! Plain and simple, Simon got it right....."America got it WRONG tonight!

They just all came down on her pretty hard. She wasn't good at all but even Paula said she didn't have a good night. Simon said all of Hawaii would need 5 phone lines to get her to stay and even Donna Summer said it wasn't good, Randy also said that she was bad.

On Ryan Seacrest's show today they said that Jasmine was crying so hard back stage after her first song that she didn't want to go back out for her second. Fantasia comforted her and convinced her to go back out again. That sounds really sweet of Fantasia to do.

I haven't been a Fantasia fan but after hearing about the above and seeing how well she handled herself tonight, I give her a lot of credit.

There's no denying that LaToya has a strong powerful and great voice but for me she lacked that something extra, that start quality. Fantasia has that, I don't even love her voice but she has that x factor, she commands the stage.

I'm rooting for Diana, who I hated in the beginning! I think she's done a great job and has really transformed throughout the competition. When jasmines good she belongs there but when she's bad, she's really bad.

Jasmine will go next week and the final will be Fantasia/Diana and who knows who will win because they are so totally opposite of eachother. I think it will make a great finale though!

I really don't like Fantasia, but I agree in that LaToya is one of the best.

It also must be remembered that the voting isnt only based on talent...it's very much become a popularity contest.

I completely agree! I couldn't stand Diana at the beginning, but I think she has come such a long way!
