American Idol Season 9

I didn't see anyone mention this but I thought the best line of the night was at the beginning of the show when Ryan asked Adam his opinion of the top 9 - he said the "usual" line about them all being very nice people & good singers and then added "They need energy -- I wanted to give them some coffee!"

Tim WAS actually pretty good tonight! i totally channeled Ellen "Tim i can't help falling inlove with you!! " lol

Lee and Casey were also pretty good. everyone else was boring. i just want Casey to put down the guitar just ONCE...for ONE week! that's all i ask!

OT, but my neck and shoulders have been killing me today, and i can't get into the chiropractor at least until next week. any ideas on how to get rid of some of the pain??

i've already taken 3 tylenol, 1 mobic(Anti-inflamitory), and i've had the heating pad on pratically all day......

Try ice for 20 minutes, then heat for 20. Go back and forth a few times. It usually really helps me.

my mom just went "I don't care what they say....Crystal is so good, orginal, AND she surprises me every week!"

in my mind, she's getting boring for me. They're playing her up too much IMO.

Best this season by far...She should be in final 3 but probably wont win...the young looking kid will probably win it...sad to say

IMO, don't waste time on Sherlock Holmes. I spent the whole movie going, "WTH is going on?" cuz I got soo lost during it.

The first Iron Man movie was really good; hope this one holds up.

Yeah I like the first Iron Man too and I dont really care for those type movies...can you believe a guy that doesnt like Iron Man type movies...

I hate to say it but I like Chic Flicks.......and anything Kevin Costner does....However "The Hurt Locker" is one of the best I have seen recently

In my opinion:

Lee, Casey and Tim were the best of the night. Even though he sang it well, I was disappointed in the song Casey picked. There had to be a better song out there for him to sing. I hope his selection doesn't hurt him in votes.

Crystal and Katie were OK

Aaron and Siobhan were OK to a much lesser degree

Andrew and Mike were just terrible. I don't get what the judges heard in Mike. I think he did a terrible job in changing In the Ghetto. By taking all of Elvis' deep voice sounds out, Mike changed this into a trite song. Didn't like it at all.

I thought that Adam did a great job mentoring. Good advice. I don't get all of the comments about needing to help out Adam's career. I don't follow sales charts but he must be doing better than last year's winner. I actually hear Adam on the radio, hardly ever hear Kris. I would like Kris better as a person but Adam has the voice.

Also, big cheer for Jason Castro's album. He is still my favorite (sorry all of you David Cook fans) and I hope his album sells well.

I liked Lee a lot last night, tuned in late( right as Tim was singing) and missed Crystal, but sounds like she didn't blow it.
Should be interesting since 2 have to go tonight...

Also, Adam is a CELEBRITY, unlike Kris who might sing well but is as boring as watching paint dry. Heck if someone impersonates you on SNL, you've MADE IT.

I LOVED Jason's album. Someone linked us to it on the CB and I listened to all the cuts. He's awesome, and I love the picture of him on the cover, GORGEOUS! My son is now his biggest fan since he met him at school and wants to buy the cd to support him. What an awesome guy!
