Casey James – Don’t Stop Thinking About Tomorrow – Fleetwood Mac – Typical Casey, plaid electric guitar–playing was awesome
Lee Dwyze – The Boxer by Simon and Garfunkle – Had to sing twice due to tech difficulties, acoustic guitar, backup singers and
Tim Urban – Better Days – Goo Goo Dolls – Really good, his best week. Belting notes! Played acoustic guitar
Aaron Kelly – I Believe I Can Fly – Ruben Studdard song – Wasn’t pitchy, but very karaoke
Siobhan Magnus – When you Believe – Mariah and Whitney from the Prince of Egypt – Thought she was amazing, did pure soprano high notes. Butterflies on her arm, strapless dress, purpley water-colored
Michael Lynche – Hero – Alt rock version, probably Chad Kroeger feat. Josey Scott – Sang it with acoustic guitar, glory note at the end.
Crystal Bowersox – People Get Ready – started a capella no guitar – weird microphone stand and evening gown. Some pitchiness.

Here's my opinion on the choices, without trying to give it away:

Casey: I can see it working for him. If he rocks it up and makes it peppy, I might really like it.

Lee: Again, I can see it working for him. I actually like this song, and as a kid my parents would play the Madison Square Garden Live version on road trips, and it's stuck with me. I hope he doesn't screw it up!

Tim: I remember when I first heard this song. I loved it like crazy and I went on a mad hunt for it. That's how badly I loved the song. If Tim does as well as he apparently did in rehearsal, then YAY! he didn't screw up a favorite song of mine.

Aaron: I actually was listening to the song list they had on iTunes, and I imagined Aaron singing this song......that isn't a good thing.

Siobhan: Again with the diva songs. I knew this song had a high note in the end, and as soon as I saw that this was her song, I just went "Oh c'mon...typical Siobhan...typical."

Michael: I like this song, and I originally thought Casey could do it, but I guess Mike's getting it. It's hard for me to imagine this song done differently, so it'll be interesting to see what he does with it.

Crystal: Her having the pimp spot gets to me. She's awesome, don't get me wrong, but you'd think they'd have someone else, who NEEDS the attention, to have the spot. It makes me feel like they're pushing her to the public too much, from the whole Ryan/hero of the day story they both had and all. Anyways, with the song, I like this song, and I think she'll do just fine with it. I'm just praying she does something different with her voice and all. It's getting a little boring, sadly.

Gah. I'll be watching DWTS results. Gotta check on my man Ochocinco! That and it's stinkin LOST night. Dh thinks he needs the TV for that show.

No way will I miss Alicia Keys on AI tonight. I think she is the most beautiful, most talented singer/songwriter ever. I could listen to her sing the phone book. I hope she can help some of these people. Shame she got this season because it is mostly boring and ho-hum.
