So true, lol! I couldn't believe he missed the delivery of his first born child. "Ok, AI audition or seeing the birth of my baby, which one to chose, well I guess performing".

i was SO angry with his whole story, my poor husband had to listen to me rant for WEEKS about that lol

is he 28?? could he not try out again next season?

I think that is why they had him mention the baby wasn't due until a week or two later.

To me it doesnt' matter. His wife went with him to the audition when she was about to pop. It wasn't like they didn't know that there was a possibility that he would make it and that oh...I don't know...it could happen in close vicinity to the baby. It's a whole week that he'd be gone. Murphy's law of course!

While we may have killed our husbands--let's not assume that she was anything less than fully onboard with this.

It doesn't matter if there is a next year for him. They decided for him to try out and they got what they were hoping for.

To condemn him for it is brutal and wrong IMHO. What they decide is between them.

It is also brutal and wrong for AI to rub our noses in it.
