I was thinking the same thing! There have been way too many lame comedies out lately.

I know! The last comedy I saw that I enjoyed was The Proposal, but I rented that. The Hangover I saw in theaters and it was funny. But this one just looks pathetic and desperate.

Crystal has a really great, unique voice, but i think she should have had the band playing with her in the backround, instead of her just going at it with a guitar and harmonica....

ITA. She was ok with it. I kinda agree with Simon about "There's alot of people like you playing in the subway every day".

I just Netflixed the "Proposal", but haven't had time to watch it. I love Sandra Bullock!! I tend to shy away from most recent comedies...especially if that d-bag from "Knocked Up" is in it. I can't stand that guy!!!

plus she played like 15 seconds of the harmonica. they only get, what, 45 seconds to perform, right?? and a third of that she wasn't even singing.

i can understand once you hit your stride maybe a few weeks into the show, when we already know what you sound like, but not in the first episode.

the girls have been so unimpressive, i'm surprised that Simon said he thought a girl was going to win.
