She keeps talking about how horrible she did.

You mean the old fashioned type glasses? I don't think so but if she took them off, I wouldn't recognize her, at least not at this point.

That big guy that was in the same group as the big guy who just had a baby should have stayed instead. I thought he was better. Hope they didn't throw the guy a bone because he missed his baby's birth. He's good but I like the other one more. But that's just me.

By now, I know you saw it. What I thought was funny was all the teasers they showed of him were him saying, "is that it?" as if he didn't make it.

I love when they try to argue. Like do they really think that the judges will be like "ok nevermind, you made it through!" And then go and cut someone else who they already picked to make it through.

What I didn't get was the guy they asked about his confidence and after he answered that he was confident in his ability, they said that he was through as if his comments made a difference. I find it hard to believe. If they didn't like his answer, who would they have put through instead?

He's probably one of those "quota" guys that's filling a spot. I didn't think he was all that good, there were others better than him.

Hate it when people beg. Did that girl who was doing all the hysterics during the promos (in a white shirt/dots) make it thru? Hope not as she was whiny.

Someone said they didn't like listening to all the stories behind the contestants, I'm just the opposite. I love hearing them. It makes them stand out more and I remember them better.

It does get tiring when it's the same story over and over.

As much as I would like to know who the rest of the final 24 are, I am not going to watch tonight. Last night was a waste of time and I don't want to spend another hour tonight with AI. I'd rather watch the Olympics. I'll wait till next week to see who all made it through or read all of your comments. That will be more entertaining anyway!

I might do that myself. The Olympics are usually more exciting and only come once every 4 years. And this year, picking the top 24 has been BORING.

Kris Allen Returning To "Idol" Next Week To Kickoff "Idol Gives Back"

Today it was announced that Kris Allen will be returning to "American Idol" next week to kickoff "Idol Gives Back!"

Kris, along with the help of the United Nations Foundation, will tavel to Haiti this Friday to raise awareness for the country's needs following the devastating earthquake last month. “It is heartbreaking to see the devastation that Haiti is currently facing,” Kris said. “I am truly honored to be traveling to Haiti to see the UN’s relief efforts firsthand and to help out in any way that I can.”

We will get our first glimpse of Kris' Haiti footage next Thursday, February 25th, during the one-hour top 24 results show, which will ask viewers to donate some much-needed funds. Kris will also be performing.

You will be able to donate to the "Idol Gives Back" foundation online or via text-messaging. “We are proud to partner with the IDOL GIVES BACK Foundation, FOX and AMERICAN IDOL on this special episode,” said Kathy Calvin, CEO for the United Nations Foundation. “We are working directly with the UN to help Haiti address the medium and long-term challenges of reconstruction. The UN needs our support so it can continue to provide food, water, shelter, medicine, security and economic opportunities to the earthquake victims. The UN and Haiti are rising to the challenge and we all have a chance to help them rebuild their future.”

Also, today it was announced that News Corporation, Ford Motor Company, Coca-Cola, AT&T and ExxonMobil will once again sponsor "Idol Gives Back." The Emmy Award-winning television event will air during the top 7 results show on Wednesday, April 21st (8-10pm ET.)

I'm glad Tyler made it through...he's from my area...have to route for the hometown guy!

(my friends saw him at a Harlem Globetrotters game last week here where I live in PA. My friend went up to him and told him "good job" and he smiled and said thanks. She said he looked like he was "cleaning up his looks"....I guess he was! and now we know why! )
