I just looked at the top 24 list on Ricky's site. Some I remember and some I am sure haven't been seen yet. I just hope that when they get to Hollywood week they do a better job of fair editing so that all of the top 24 have some screen time.

I think I need to start looking at the TV while Idol is on...I'm looking at the pictures and thinking I don't know who any of them are. I tend to be on my computer doing other things and listening more than watching.

I've noticed that AI tends to *not* showcase the people who make it to Hollywood or even the Final 24, so I'm not sure staying glued to the TV set while the city-rounds are being shown would do any good. AI seems to tell us all the kooky or sob stories, show us the really baaaaaaaaaad singers and the golden-ticket winners often only get a passing glance. I think the producers try to set up the ones they *want* to win by giving them more air-time.

Has anyone else been watching EW's Idolatry so far this season? The picture of Kara they are using for this week's part three is funny.

Does anyone remember the name of the single mom who has tried out the last 3 years? She ended up arrested last year for a traffic violation. I couldn't remember her name, so I don't know if she's on the spoiler list. Our newspaper reported a local was in the top 24, then changed their web article to say he "may" be a top 24. I guess they got in trouble for spilling the beans early.

Was she actually arrested? She said during her audition that she had to drop out to respond to a warrant, but that does not necessarily mean an arrest.

I think there are two weeks left. They still have to cover L.A., Dallas, and Denver. So unless they cover two cities in one night, we still have two weeks to go.

There was an article I saw that one of the top 24 got kicked out because his dad talked to the papers. Can you imagine how mad you would be at your dad if your chance was ruined because he couldn't keep his mouth shut? This was the guy from my area.
