I was a little disappointed that Ellen will not be doing the auditions. I guess with her show she just couldn't make time to do them.

Didn't Ellen get hired AFTER the auditions? Fun night, I think they did a decent job editing. But my dd is really hoping for another "I am your brother" kind of guy!

Ellen was indeed hired on they were trying to convince Paula to come back for a time being then they had to go through the process of finding a replacement.

it was decent no one has really wowed me yet.

We came to the same conclusion--I also don't remember too many of the real finalists being on the audition shows-but then I am getting old and just might not remember them .
